WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon over the mountains, mostly south of the Interstate 70 corridor. Expect brief moderate rain and gusty winds with the showers. Mainly dry conditions will prevail across the plains.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Late day showers and thunderstorms are expected in the mountains and foothills on Wednesday. The next weather system will bring more widespread showers and thunderstorms to all of the forecast area Thursday into Friday evening. Saturday dries out with scattered late day showers and thunderstorms only over the high country. Sunday and Monday should be dry for all areas with warming temperatures.  There will be a limited threat of flash flooding over the alpine burn areas mainly on Thursday and Friday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
