This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered showers and thunderstorms will again develop over the mountains and foothills this afternoon, especially north of the Interstate 70 corridor. Expect mainly isolated storm coverage across lower elevations. The stronger storms could produce brief moderate to heavy rain and gusty winds to around 45 mph. The showers will gradually diminish towards midnight. Hot temperatures are again expected today, with highs in the mid 90s to around 100 degrees across the plains. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Hot and mostly dry weather is expected across the forecast area Sunday through Wednesday. Critical fire weather conditions will be possible Sunday and Monday, during the afternoon and early evening hours, across portions of the plains and Palmer Divide. Showers and storms are expected to increase across North Central and Northeastern Colorado Thursday and Friday with locally heavy rainfall possible with the stronger storms. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
