WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will become more numerous over the mountains and foothills by this afternoon, then move across the plains from this afternoon and evening. The stronger storms could produce brief moderate to heavy rain and gusty winds to around 45 mph. The showers will gradually diminish towards midnight.  Temperatures will be warmer over the far northeast plains with readings close to 100 degrees. A bit of cooling over the mountains with higher cloud cover and showers.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  Scattered to likely afternoon showers and thunderstorms area expected over the high country on Saturday with lesser chances over the plains. Sunday and Monday will be dry over the forecast area. Scattered late day showers and storms will return to the mountains Tuesday and Wednesday. By Thursday, increased moisture will bring a good chance of showers and thunderstorms to most of the forecast area. There will be a threat of flash flooding over the burn areas Saturday and again Thursday. Above normal temperatures are expected through mid next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
