This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Hot temperatures will prevail this afternoon with highs reaching the upper 90s across northeast Colorado. A couple locations may top 100. Sudden and gusty outflow winds will be possible near any high based showers or storms this afternoon and early evening. Most of these will be in and near the mountains and I-25 Corridor. Any rainfall will be light, but strong gusty outflow winds of 40-55 mph are possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Scattered showers and storms are expected to develop over the higher terrain each afternoon Friday through Wednesday. This will likely lead to a limited flood threat over the burn areas during the period. A few isolated storms and showers could cross into the plains mainly producing gusty winds.
