WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will occur over the mountains and foothills this afternoon and over the Palmer Divide by mid afternoon. A couple of the storms could produce large hail and damaging wind gusts, especially over the Palmer Divide. The threat of flash flooding will remain very limited and mainly over the burn areas.  Over the plains, isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this evening. Strong wind gusts are possible with the storms.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Scattered afternoon thunderstorms can be expected Monday and Tuesday, and a few storms could be severe especially east of the I-25 Corridor. Large hail and damaging winds would be the main threats.  Drier conditions are expected Wednesday. Scattered showers and a few storms could redevelop later in the week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
