This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered thunderstorms will develop over the mountains by early to mid afternoon, and then spread east across the I-25 Corridor and plains late this afternoon and evening. The threat of flash flooding is somewhat decreased today, but locally heavy rainfall can still be anticipated. In addition, a severe storm or two will be possible as the storms move east across the northeast plains. Wind gusts of 60-65 mph and hail to around 1 inch in diameter will be possible from the strongest storms. The scattered storms will decrease from west to east this evening. However, another wave of showers and weaker storms will be possible overnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Thursday and Friday will have decreased storm coverage, though there will still be a low threat of flash flooding and a few severe storms. Increased thunderstorm activity is possible again over the weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight. However, any reports of heavy rainfall, hail, and strong winds will be appreciated.
