This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across the high country late this morning and will spread further east later in the day. The stronger storms could produce gusty outflow winds and briefly heavy rain. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Thunderstorm coverage and the corresponding burn scar flash flood threat will increase in the mountains Monday afternoon and evening, with stronger storms producing locally heavy rainfall. A few of these storms are expected to spread onto the adjacent plains, most likely holding off until very late in the afternoon or more likely, evening. The flash flood threat will increase in all areas Tuesday into Wednesday. Storms that develop will be capable of producing very heavy rain and localized flooding. The active weather pattern is slated to continue into the latter half of the week, although some decrease in storm intensity is possible by Thursday or Friday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight. However, reports of damaging winds will be appreciated.
