This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. ...Active weather week ahead... .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across the high country early this afternoon and spread into the I-25 corridor and eastern plains later this afternoon and evening. A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible, with large hail and strong wind gusts as the main threats. Above normal temperatures will continue today with highs in the low to mid 90s across the lower elevations. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Scattered showers and storms can be expected Sunday and Monday, and then more widespread showers and storms with locally heavy rain will likely develop Tuesday and Wednesday. A couple of the storms on Sunday may become severe with large hail and strong, gusty winds. By Monday afternoon and evening, a stronger storms will be capable of producing very heavy rainfall and local flooding issues. Moisture and the threat for locally heavy rain and flash flooding will increase further for Tuesday into Wednesday.
