WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and storms are expected late this afternoon, through this evening, and possibly into the night. A few strong storms are possible on the plains. One or two strong/severe storms will be possible over the northeast plains from Morgan County to points north and east. Wind gusts in excess of 60 mph and hail up to 1.5 inches in diameter will be the main threats.  In addition, there are elevated fire weather conditions around South and Middle Parks this afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  Isolated to scattered storms are forecast across the I-25 corridor Saturday. It will be dry with a warming trend Sunday into early next week. Fire weather concerns will increase Monday and Tuesday in the high country given very dry, warm, and locally breezy conditions. For the Urban Corridor, very warm temperatures are expected Monday and Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 90s.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
