WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight There will be another round of scattered storms and showers this afternoon and evening. There is a chance of all major hazards (damaging wind, large hail, and a few tornadoes possible) for much of northeast Colorado, focused on our southern plains. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday There will be a greater threat of severe thunderstorms on Saturday as low level moisture and instability increase. The main threat will be large hail, and the greatest storm coverage is expected to occur from the I-25 Corridor eastward onto the nearby adjacent plains including Greeley, the Palmer Divide, and Lincoln County. A brief tornado or two can't be ruled out along a convergence boundary that is expected to develop just east and southeast of Denver. We'll transition to dry weather for Sunday through early next week, although an isolated severe storm or two will still be possible over the northeast corner of the state. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon or evening. However, any reports of hail, heavy rain, or significant weather will be appreciated.
