WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  There will be widespread and persistent showers and there is a marginal risk of excessive rainfall. Widespread impacts are not expected, but locally heavy rainfall will probably result in localized impacts around burn, urban, and poor drainage areas. There is at least a limited threat of flash flooding to all burn areas, and an elevated threat to the Cameron Peak. There will be embedded thunderstorms and a few might bring marginal hail and gust hazards, but the primary hazard is locally heavy rainfall.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected through the upcoming week. Some of the storms may produce small hail, however, the primary hazard will be heavy rain and possible flooding. Flood prone places, such as the burn areas, will be at the greatest risk for flooding.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, rainfall and flooding reports will be appreciated.
