WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  A few severe thunderstorms will be possible from this afternoon into the early evening hours across portions of the northeast plains. At this time, the most likely area would be along and north of a Fort Morgan to Akron line. Large hail and damaging winds would be the main threat from the storms.  Elsewhere scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible with gusty winds, small hail and brief heavy rain.  There will be a limited potential for flash flooding in the burn scars.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Isolated to scattered thunderstorms and showers will occur Monday and Tuesday mainly for the mountains. Storms will struggle to push east into the I-25 corridor and Palmer Divide in the evening hours. Main impacts are small hail and lightning. By Thursday, there is an increasing chance of numerous storms and showers for the entire region. Friday, temperatures will decrease bringing below normal conditions to the mountains and plains.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
