WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Rain showers will gradually decrease across the area this afternoon. The South Platte River will continue to rise downstream of Denver, and many other streams will remain elevated with high flows. Avoid any activity and keep children from playing in or near these fast moving waters.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  There will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms this weekend and into early next week. Additional heavy precipitation is not expected, but rivers and streams are expected to be running high due to the recent rainfall.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, flooding and rainfall reports are appreciated.
