WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 There is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms for the northeastern plains this afternoon. A Flood Watch is in effect through Friday morning.  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Ongoing widespread rainfall will lead to flood potential for the foothills, urban corridor and plains through tonight. Areas above 10k ft will receive moderate to heavy snowfall resulting in accumulations from 8-16 inches. Afternoon severe thunderstorms are possible for the plains and urban corridor which could produce strong winds, hail, and lightning. By this evening into tonight, an additional 0.50-1.0 inches of rainfall will occur for most of the region.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  Rain and mountain snow will decrease and come to an end Friday as the storm system exits the region. There will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms this weekend and into early next week. Additional heavy precipitation is not expected, but rivers and streams are expected to be running high due to the recent rainfall.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
