This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Snow will become widespread across the mountains today and continue through tonight with 5 to 10 inches of snow expected. Roads in the mountains are expected to become snow covered and slippery, especially tonight. For the Front Range and near by plains, rain and snow showers form late this afternoon and early evening. A quick change to snow is expected where precipitation begins as rain. Snowfall accumulation will mainly be confined to grassy and elevated surfaces where up 3 inches of snow will be possible. The heavier amounts will be found near and in the foothills. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Snow showers will continue across the high country through Saturday, with a couple inches of additional snow possible, especially across the Front Range mountains and foothills. Sunday and Monday should be mostly quiet, before another storm system arrives late Monday or early Tuesday. This storm has the potential bring another round of accumulating snow to the higher elevations and widespread rain across portions of the plains, but the exact track of this storm remains uncertain. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
