WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Critical fire weather conditions expected this afternoon given warm, dry, and breezy conditions. A Red Flag Warning will be in effect from 11 AM to 7 PM for the plains, urban corridor, Palmer Divide, South Park and southern foothills. Light showers possible over the northern mountains late afternoon/early evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Snow showers will prevail over the mountains Wednesday with a few inches of snow possible. For the plains, rain and snow showers are expected to begin Wednesday afternoon. Most of the showers will start as rain Wednesday with some areas seeing snow Wednesday night. A light snow accumulation will be possible on grassy surface. Periods of snow showers will continue in the mountains Thursday and Friday with only minor snow accumulations expected. Across the lower elevations, light rain and snow showers will be possible both Thursday and Friday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
