This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Strong west to northwesterly winds at 20 to 40 mph are expected today. Gusts to 60 mph are possible in a few areas. There are Red Flag Warnings in effect this afternoon for the southern forecast area, including Park County, the Palmer Ridge and the southern foothills. The Urban Corridor also has a Red Flag Warning this afternoon. Critical fire weather conditions are expected in these areas. Light to moderate snow will continue over the high mountains through today and decrease to scattered snow showers tonight. Expect snow covered and slick roads with blowing snow and reduced visibility, making travel difficult. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the Park Range including Rabbit Ears Pass, valid through 6 PM MDT. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Windy conditions are expected in the mountains and exposed east slopes on Saturday with gusts up to 70 mph over the mountains. Expect near critical to critical fire weather conditons on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons over the Palmer Divide region with gusty winds and low humidities. Expect dry and warmer conditions for this weekend and into early next week along with continued gusty winds in the mountains. The next chance of snow will return to the mountains late Monday and Tuesday, and there will be a chance of rain or snow showers at lower elevations early next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
