This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight A few light snow showers will occur over the high mountain passes through early this afternoon but little or no accumulation is expected. Areas of low clouds and patchy fog will gradually dissipate over portions of far northeast Colorado by early afternoon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday The next system arrives late Friday and will bring light snow to most of the area. Roads will be slick in spots in the mountains Friday afternoon and in the lower elevations Friday night. After a dry Saturday, snow returns to the mountains Sunday and could spill over to the northern plains/Wyoming border area late Sunday. Periods of mountain snow will continue through next week, with snow possible over the plains toward Tuesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today.
