WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Light snow showers will continue through most of the day today, with slick road conditions possible. A burst of heavier snow may bring a quick inch or two across the I-25 corridor this afternoon. Snow should end across the Denver metro and plains later this evening, with temperatures falling below zero and wind chills dropping to -15 to -25 degrees.  Snow and blowing snow is also expected across portions of the high country today and tonight. Difficult travel is expected at times.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Thursday morning will be chilly and temperatures will slowly moderate during the day but will remain well below normal. There will be light snow showers mainly in the mountains with minimal impact on travel. Friday into Saturday, temperatures will increase for all areas with a chance of light snow in the mountains on Friday. Another system will affect the area late Sunday bringing more snow to the mountains.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. Any snowfall reports will be appreciated.
