WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...SNOW AND COLDER WEATHER CONTINUE TODAY...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Prepare for slick roads and ongoing snow during the AM commute this morning. A few areas in the foothills and mountains could see blowing snow conditions now through this evening as wind gusts reach 30-40 mph. It is possible for snow to decrease in intensity this afternoon across the urban corridor and plains then isolated light snow showers could occur during the evening commute across the I-25 and I-70 corridors. Snow should end across the region by late Wednesday night into Thursday morning.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Temperatures will drop below zero across the entire forecast area Thursday morning. Wind chills will be between -15 to -25 so limit time outdoors. Meanwhile periods of light snow will continue in the mountains.  Friday into Saturday, temperatures will increase for all areas with a chance of snow in the mountains on Friday. Another system will affect the area late Sunday bringing more snow to the mountains.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. Any snowfall reports will be appreciated.
