WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW FOR THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS LATE TONIGHT AND SUNDAY... ...HIGH WIND WATCH FOR THE FRONT RANGE MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Snow and areas of blowing snow will move into the northern mountains late tonight, with slick and hazardous travel conditions developing through daybreak Sunday. Gusty winds to 50-60 mph can also be expected in wind prone areas of the mountains and foothills by tonight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Light to moderate snowfall will lead to hazardous travel along Rabbit Ears Pass and Park Range. It is possible for these areas to experience blowing snow as well thus prepare for possible wind gusts up to 50 mph through Sunday night. Total snowfall amounts trends between 4-8 inches.  Westerly winds begin to increase Sunday evening through Monday night thus a High Wind Watch covers portions of the mountains and foothills for wind gusts up to 70-80 mph.  Temperatures will increase Monday and Tuesday. The next system arrives Wednesday which will bring snow to the higher elevations and colder temperatures across all areas.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
