WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Gusty winds can be expected in the high mountains and foothills today with gusts up to 50 mph. Areas at the base of the foothills and near the northern Colorado border could see gusts to 40 mph this afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  A system will bring snow to the mountains Sunday night through Monday with a low chance for snow showers on the plains Monday afternoon. Minor impacts to travel can be anticipated in the high country with this system. Next chance for snow is Wednesday night through Thursday; however, confidence is lower in the outcome of the system. It may bring another round of light snow for the mountains and a low chance for a light accumulation for portions of the plains.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
