This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Snow continues in the northern mountains this morning especially along and north of Berthoud Pass. Additional snowfall totals today will be up to 5 inches in the Park Range, 2 to 7 inches across the Front Range mountains including the I-70 corridor, and up to 2 inches in the northern foothills. The snow in the mountains will wind down tonight and end by Tuesday morning. Across the plains, there will be light snow showers that won't amount to much. The two exceptions will be 1) the far northern I-25 corridor mainly north of Longmont to the Wyoming border where up to 2 inches may fall this morning and 2) across the Denver metro where up to 2 inches may fall later this afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be extremely cold this morning, possible down to -10 degrees across the plains. Wind chill values will be as low as -25 degrees through 9AM. Temperatures will not moderate much across the plains today with highs staying below 7 degrees. Tonight, temperatures will again fall below zero with wind chill values as low as -20. Another Wind Chill Advisory is in effect from 9PM tonight through 8AM Tuesday morning. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Wind chills will be in the -15 to -20 degree range across the plains through mid morning on Tuesday.
