WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...WINTER WEATHER TO CONTINUE THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Light to moderate snow will continue this morning, but gradually diminish from west to east during late morning and afternoon hours. Travel will be difficult and slow going this morning due to snow covered roads. Additional snowfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches are expected. The far northeast plains will see heavy snow today with 4 to 8 inches of additional snow. The northeast plains will also see areas of blowing and drifting snow, and some road closures will be possible due to a combination of heavy snow accumulations and blowing snow.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Weaker weather systems may bring some light snow to the area Friday and then again Sunday to Monday. Temperatures will stay below normal through the entire week ahead.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed, though snowfall reports will be appreciated.
