WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Areas of fog will continue mainly north and east of Denver until 9 am this morning. Patchy dense fog will reduce visibilities to less than one quarter mile. Bridges and overpasses could get slick and icy. Slow down this morning and allow extra time to reach your destination.  Otherwise, expected areas of light snow in the mountains today. Windy in the Front Range mountains and foothills with gusts up to 50 mph possible. Gusty winds will also develop across the far northeast plains this afternoon. This could produce patchy blowing snow, especially along I-76 east of Sterling.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Drier weather can be expected on Thursday, while another round of snow is expected to move into the mountains Thursday night through Friday night. Areas of blowing snow will occur over the high mountain passes. Drier weather will return for the weekend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
