This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Snow showers tapering off in the high country this morning, with a break this afternoon and early evening. Snow will increase southwest to northeast for all areas mid to late this evening, with one or two inches of accumulation possible overnight for the foothills, urban corridor and northern plains. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Snow, along with light freezing rain or drizzle on portions of the plains, will continue Monday. Most of the light freezing precipitation is expected to occur along and southeast of the I-76 Corridor, and end by late afternoon. The snow will then taper off Monday night. Snow totals will most likely range between 2 and 6 inches along the I-25 Corridor and foothills, with the heavier amounts north of Boulder. The northeast plains could see ice accumulation up to a tenth of an inch, as well as snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches. The heavier totals here would be favored near the Wyoming border and Nebraska border to the north. In the mountains, another 5 to 12 inches of snow is likely to fall tonight through Monday night. Travelers should be prepared for slick, hazardous, and slow travel conditions through Monday night. Conditions will improve across the lower elevations on Tuesday, but light snow showers will linger in the mountains. Drier weather can be expected in all areas by Wednesday and Thursday, while another round of light snow is expected to move into the mountains by Thursday night and Friday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
