This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Snow showers will continue in the early morning hours mainly east of Denver International Airport. Wind gusts up to 30 mph will create some small areas of blowing snow which, combined with the falling snow, could create hazardous travel conditions. The worst travel conditions will likely be on I-70 east of Denver. By the late morning and early afternoon, the snow will move out of the northeast corner of Colorado and road conditions will drastically improve. The rest of the day will be dry and cool. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday The next storm system will bring another round of snow to the mountain areas from Friday through the weekend, and the lower elevations from Sunday afternoon into Monday of next week. Temperatures will also be colder on Monday across lower elevations. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight, however snowfall totals will be appreciated following last nights storm.
