United States through tonight.

An upper-level trough will move across the Eastern Seaboard tonight
as zonal mid-level flow develops across much of the south-central
U.S. At the surface, high pressure will dominate the eastern
two-thirds of the nation as a cold front moves southeastward into
the central Plains. Some moisture return will take place in
south-central Texas tonight. However, weak instability and limited
large-scale ascent will keep convection from developing tonight. For
this reason, a severe threat is not expected tonight across the
continental United States.
