Window of opportunity for surface-based thunderstorms is rapidly
diminishing over the central through northern FL Peninsula as the
boundary layer cools and stabilizes in the presence of a warm layer
aloft. Deeper forcing for ascent will remain in post frontal region
as a cold front advances southeast through the Peninsula.
Post-frontal showers will continue moving east southeast through
northern FL tonight, but the elevated unstable layer is expected to
remain too shallow and weak for thunderstorms.
