YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Fire danger will increase today as westerly winds will combine with low humidities for a brief period this afternoon. While this threat is expected to be limited, fire control may become more difficult than expected. Threat will be highest across Yuma, Kit Carson, Cheyenne KS and Dundy counties.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Potential increasing for the first frost of the fall across much of the region will increase Friday night into Saturday morning. These colder temperatures may damage sensitive vegetation.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters will not be needed today or tonight.
