YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 10 MDT or 11 AM CDT this morning for the area generally north of I-70 and east of Highway 25 in northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska. Expect visibility to be reduced to a quarter of a mile at times in the advisory area.  A Flood Watch continues through tonight for the entire area. Rainfall today will result in generally 1-2" south of Interstate 70 and east of Highway 25 in Kansas and Nebraska, with local amounts of 2-4" or higher possible in those areas. Elsewhere, heavy rainfall amounts will be more isolated.  There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening generally east of Highway 25 in northwest Kansas. Stronger storms will be capable of producing wind gusts of up to 60 mph and brief tornadoes.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  The Flood Watch continues through the day on Thursday. Additional rounds of heavy rainfall may be possible, which may result in flash flooding.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
