YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms will develop in the Kansas and Colorado border area by late this afternoon or early this evening, mainly south of Interstate 70. A supercell or two will be possible, capable of producing hail up to golf ball size or larger, damaging wind gusts and perhaps a tornado through about 9 PM this evening, followed by weaker and more isolated storms through the overnight hours.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Patchy fog may develop in the Kansas and Nebraska border area around sunrise Thursday morning. Brief visibility reductions of less than one mile will be possible.  There is a marginal risk for an isolated severe storm or two Thursday evening generally east of Highway 25 in northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska. If storms develop, large hail and damaging winds will be possible.  There is a marginal risk for isolated severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening for the area from McCook to Norton. Large hail and damaging winds may accompany any thunderstorm which develops.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
