YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Heat Advisory is in effect for counties along and south of a line from Wallace to Graham counties. Air temperatures and heat index values are forecast to reach 105 to 110. These heat index values put additional stress on the body, especially the young and elderly.  Severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening, favoring those near the Tri-State border. Wind gusts up to 70 mph, hail up to half dollar in size, and maybe flooding are possible.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Near daily chances for at least isolated strong to severe storms through the majority of the upcoming week. Wind gusts up to 70 mph, large hail, and maybe flooding are possible.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
