YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Fog and perhaps patches of dense fog are again possible tonight into Saturday morning. The highest potential for fog is across Red Willow, Norton and Decatur counties. Visibility will be limited to a half mile or less at times, which will reduce the reaction time for motorists.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  A Heat Advisory is in effect for Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska Saturday through Monday. Temperatures above 100 degrees and heat index values in the mid 100s are forecast during the afternoon hours each day. Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. Livestock may be stressed as well due to multiple days of triple digit heat.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
