YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms will develop across the area after 3 PM MT this afternoon. Large hail up to ping pong ball and damaging winds around 60 mph are the primary threats. If a storm can remain long lived then hail exceeding 2 inches may be possible.  Additional strong to severe storms are forecast to develop overnight north of Highway 40. Large hail, damaging winds and some flash flooding due to training storms may be possible. Damage to crops and property are possible. If outdoors overnight for the holiday remain alert for possible severe weather.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Severe storms will be possible Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. Scattered storms are expected to develop in northeast Colorado after 3 PM MT and move east into Kansas and Nebraska after 6 PM MT. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary hazards.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
