YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Severe storms are possible late this evening and into the overnight hours, favoring those north of Interstate 70. Large hail to around one to two inches and wind gusts up to 65 mph are the main hazards. Storms may cause damage overnight, so have a way to receive warnings.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Saturday, severe storms are possible during the afternoon and evening hours across the entire area. Large hail, wind gusts above 60 mph, blowing dust, tornadoes, and flash flooding are all possible. These storms may cause damage and interrupt outdoor events.  A severe storm or two is also possible Sunday afternoon and evening. Large hail and damaging wind gusts look to be the potential threats.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
