YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Dense fog may develop overnight across Red Willow, Hitchcock, Decatur, Norton and Norton counties. Visibilities may drop to one quarter mile or less. Wildlife, stalled vehicles and other road obstructions will be difficult to spot. Low visibility may cause the time to slow down and stop to be longer than the time you are able to see ahead.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  There is a risk for severe thunderstorms on Friday in northwest Kansas. A cold front will be the focus for thunderstorm development by mid afternoon with a severe storm or two capable of large hail, damaging winds and perhaps a brief tornado.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
