YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Wednesday, a Red Flag Warning is in effect for counties along and east of a line from McCook, Nebraska to Leoti, Kansas. Relative humidity possibly as low as 10 percent and wind gusts up to 45 mph will lead to increased fire danger. Fires may spread very rapidly.  Wednesday afternoon has a 20 percent chance for blowing dust that reduces air quality and visibility down to a mile or less.  Wednesday afternoon and evening also has a low chance for severe storms across most of the Tri-State area. Main hazards will be damaging hail and winds up to 60 MPH.  Thursday, relative humidity as low as 10 percent and wind gusts up to 40 mph could lead to increased fire danger again for most of the area. Fires may spread rapidly.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be needed Wednesday.
