YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Severe thunderstorms remain possible through the evening across the area. Winds up to 80 mph and half dollar size hail are the primary hazards. Localized dust storms can not be ruled out either with the strongest winds reducing visibility to one mile or less. A Blowing Dust Warning has been issued for Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado along with Sherman, Wallace, Logan and Thomas counties in Kansas through 8pm mountain time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect for portions of the area on Sunday, mainly along and west of Highway 25 and south of Interstate 70. A combination of warm temperatures, southwest winds gusting up to 30 mph and humidity in the low to mid teens could lead to rapid wildfire growth.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
