YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  There is a low risk (less than 20%) for a marginally severe thunderstorm this evening east of Highway 25 in Kansas and Nebraska. Hail up to nickel or quarter size will be possible.  Dense fog is possible tonight through Saturday morning.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Dense fog continues early Saturday morning, burning off by mid morning.  There is a somewhat higher risk (30-40%) for a severe thunderstorm Saturday afternoon and evening in the entire area. Hazards include damaging wind gusts of up to 70 mph, blowing dust and localized dust storms, and hail up quarter and half dollar size.  Increased fire danger is forecast for Sunday and Monday. A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for Sunday for northeast Colorado and west of Highway 25 in Kansas and Nebraska.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
