A Red Flag Warning is in effect this afternoon for Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado and Wallace, Greeley and Wichita counties in Kansas, where dry conditions and breezy winds from the south may lead to rapid wildfire growth. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY... A Red Flag Warning and Fire Weather Watch have been issued for Friday afternoon for portions of the area. Winds up around 50 MPH and dry conditions will cause fires to rapidly spread. Locations near the Tri-State border may see brief gusts up to 60 MPH. High winds may topple high profile vehicles. Patchy blowing dust is possible across the region is possible and may reduce visibility to under a mile and impact air quality. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
