WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight  Light snow showers in the mountains will continue to taper off to just scattered light snow showers or a few flurries this afternoon. Only spotty slick spots will remain.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  A few snow showers will continue in the mountains Friday, but any additional accumulation will be quite light and scattered in nature. Some light snow will fall over the northeast plains by late Friday behind the passage of a cold front, with a few flurries as far west as the I-25 Corridor possible Friday night. Temperatures will turn briefly colder behind the front.  Light snow showers will likely occur in the mountains again on Saturday, before drier and warmer weather returns for Sunday and Monday.  The next chance of light snow will hold off until Monday night - Tuesday night, but no significant storms are anticipated at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
