YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Cold Weather Advisory starts tonight as wind chills drop to around -15 degrees. There is an increased risk of hypothermia and frostbite  in these conditions.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  A Cold Weather Advisory continues into Sunday midday. Winds chills will drop as low as -25. Highest feels like temperatures Friday will only be -12 to -5. There is an increased risk of hypothermia and frostbite in these conditions.  A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for most of northwestern Kansas for Friday afternoon until Saturday night. Snowfall accumulations of 3-6 inches is expected. Pockets of up to 8 inches of snow is possible in Gove and Graham counties. Travel will become hazardous.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
