YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Arctic air with wind chills of 15 to 25 below are possible Friday through Sunday morning. Friday evening through Saturday morning is forecast to be the coldest.  Accumulating snow is also forecast during this cold period with locations along and south of Interstate 70 in northwest Kansas currently favored to see the higher amounts. The combination of wet and cold conditions will pose a risk to livestock along with an increased potential for frostbite and hypothermia. Some impacts to travel may also occur.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
