YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Hazardous travel conditions associated with 1 to 3 inches of accumulating snow and black ice are possible through the night. Areas along and south of Interstate 70 and west of highway 25 appear to be most at risk.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Friday, hazardous travel from snow accumulating between 1 to 3 inches and black ice remain possible through the day. Adding to the hazards, northerly winds gusting to 45 mph could lead to blowing snow with visibility as low as half a mile.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
