This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Widespread gusty winds and critical fire weather conditions are expected across the Front Range and adjacent plains through this evening. The most critical fire weather conditions will occur across the Boulder and Jefferson county foothills through the afternoon. Strong winds may eventually spread into the Denver metro by later this evening into the overnight hours. Across the mountains, light to moderate snow will develop during the early overnight hours and continue into Saturday. Snow and gusty winds may make travel difficult, especially across the northern mountains. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Snow will continue across the mountains Saturday, with additional light to moderate snowfall accumulations possible. Gusty winds will gradually diminish through the day. Cooler temperatures are forecast for the plains with highs in the 40s to 50s. A generally warm and dry pattern is expected to persist through most of next week. Periods of gusty winds will also continue, leading to occasional elevated fire weather conditions across the Front Range and plains. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
