WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight  Moderate to occasionally heavy snow will continue in the mountains through early afternoon, before snowfall intensities quickly diminish. Strong winds will continue to impact the higher mountain terrain with gusts 60-80 mph for the windiest location, resulting in continued areas of blowing snow into the evening at and above pass levels.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Light snow is expected to linger into Sunday with snow covered and slick roads possible on Sunday, especially during the morning over the mountain passes.  For next week, periods of snow will be possible over the northern mountains through the middle part of next week. Across the plains, dry conditions are expected to continue, with a gradual warming trend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
