This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Patchy dense fog will persist along and north of I-76 through late morning. This afternoon, southerly winds will increase, with gusts to 40 mph becoming widespread on the plains south of I-76 and the mountains south of I-70. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms may produce wind gusts up to 70 mph. Tonight there will be rain and snow showers in the mountains, with snow levels lowering to between 8 and 9 thousand feet. Any snow accumulations will be less than 2 inches. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Patchy frost will be possible in colder plains locations starting Friday morning, with more widespread frost or freezing temperatures starting Sunday morning.
