YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Patchy frost is possible tonight along the Palmer Divide in western and southern Cheyenne County CO.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Strong and gusty southerly winds are forecast Sunday through Tuesday over the Tri-State area. There is a 50 to 80 percent chance of 40 mph wind gusts over east-central Colorado and a 20 to 50 percent chance of 40 mph wind gusts west of US Highway 83 in northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska Sunday afternoon and evening. There is a 40 to 90 percent chance of 40 mph wind gusts Monday over all of the Tri-State area.  Winds this strong pose a risk to high-profile vehicles and could produce blowing dust.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
