YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Patchy fog will develop from McCook to Hill City overnight and persist into early Monday morning.  A few strong to severe storms are possible over portions of the area this afternoon, mainly in northwest Kansas between 3 PM and 8 PM MDT. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main hazards, although a brief landspout or weak tornado cannot be ruled out in the afternoon hours. In addition, heavy rain and localized flash flooding will be possible through this evening south of Interstate 70 in northwest Kansas.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
